Data Terra EOSC Node

Access to atmospheric composition data from ground-based and satellite observations, including aerosols, trace gases and cloud properties.

The Volcano Space Observatory Use-Case aims to evaluate new ways of handling data processing services in the Volcano Space Observatory (VSO).

The VSO is a suite of interactive web platforms for near real-time and retrospective tracking and analysis of volcanic events, integrating atmospheric and solid Earth data from ground-based measurements, satellite observations, and models.

In this phase, the platform will expand its supported datasets by incorporating ACTRIS ERIC (historical and near real-time) to cover the European geographical area. While marine domain data—such as ARGO data—is currently unsupported, its potential inclusion will be assessed.

Thematic pillars

Contributions to EOSC Federation

Scaling up the platform in the EOSC federation would help us solve technical bottlenecks while processing InSAR data.

Data Access & Management

Evaluate easier and faster access to Copernicus datasets.
Evaluate access and data processing on other European Federated infrastructures, including WekEO DIAS or OpenEO CDSE instances

Multi-node scientific workflows

Provide users with more accessible and faster services using interoperable APIs for marine data integration through the DTO EOSC Node
